Our story —
Founded in 2014 by KK and AD, Akron Aoton merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Guided by a quiet Japanese minimalism, the studio creates functional and sculptural ceramic objects shaped by raw experimentation. By developing custom glazes and utilizing high-temperature techniques, raku and reduction firing, they embrace the unpredictable nature of clay rather than seeking total control.
