Our story

Akron Aoton Ceramics started in 2010 as two friends searching for the perfect balance of form, function, and beauty.

Akron Aoton Ceramics now sells a daily selection of ceramic pieces both online and in-store. We have a philosophy of balance—a balance of old techniques and new ones, of different materials and finishes, and of passion and skill.

Studio craft —

How we make our pieces

Every vessel begins at the wheel. We center the clay, throw and trim each form by hand, and fire in small batches to achieve the balance of texture, color, and utility we love.

Artisanal bread making classes
